Scrapples “Snack to School” Competition 2026

Terms & Conditions

Promoter

Spare Snacks Ltd t/a Scrapples, PO Box 1320, St Albans, AL1 9GJ (“Scrapples” or “the Promoter”).

Eligibility

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

Nominations must be for a primary school for children aged 4–11 located in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

Employees of Scrapples, its agencies and contractors, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary.

Promotion Timeline

Main competition opens: 4 September 2026 at 00:01 (BST)

Main competition closes: 23 September 2026 at 23:59 (BST)

The Katrina Sabourin Audience Promotion will open when Katrina publishes her Snack to School campaign content and will also close on 23 September 2026 at 23:59 (BST).

Winning schools and individual prize winners will be contacted after the relevant competition closes and eligibility has been checked.

Scrapples may adjust the winner announcement date if additional time is reasonably required to contact schools and confirm that they can accept their prize.

How to Enter

There are two separate entry routes for Snack to School 2026:

  1. The main Scrapples Snack to School nomination form; and

  2. The dedicated Katrina Sabourin Snack to School nomination form.

The two entry routes have separate school selection processes.

Nominations submitted through the main Scrapples form will only be counted towards the main Scrapples competition.

Nominations submitted through Katrina's dedicated form will only be counted towards the Katrina Sabourin Audience Promotion.

Entrants will be asked to provide:

  • Their name

  • Email address

  • The name of the primary school they are nominating

  • The school's postcode

Only one nomination per person/email address per nomination form is permitted.

Bulk, automated, fraudulent or duplicate entries through the same form will not be accepted.

No purchase is necessary.

A separate, optional Scrapples marketing opt-in may be provided. Entrants do not need to consent to receiving marketing communications to enter.

The 10 Winning Schools

A total of 10 different primary schools will receive a whole-school Scrapples prize through Snack to School 2026.

The 10 prizes are allocated as follows:

  • Nine schools will win through the main Scrapples Snack to School competition.

  • One school will win through the Katrina Sabourin Audience Promotion.

Each winning school will receive:

One 12g pack of Scrapples for every enrolled pupil, up to a maximum of 300 packs per school.

Flavours and format will be selected by Scrapples and are subject to availability.

If a winning school has more than 300 enrolled pupils, the prize will be capped at 300 individual packs. Distribution of those packs within the school will be at the school's discretion.

Each school may receive only one whole-school prize through Snack to School 2026.

If the same school would otherwise receive a prize through both entry routes, an alternative eligible winner will be selected so that 10 different schools benefit from the campaign.

School prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Main Scrapples Snack to School Competition

The main Scrapples nomination form has its own school selection process.

Following the closing date, all valid nominations received through the main Scrapples Snack to School form will be counted.

The nine primary schools receiving the highest number of valid nominations through the main Scrapples form will each receive a whole-school Snack to School prize.

Nominations submitted through Katrina Sabourin's dedicated form will not be included in these totals.

Ties

If two or more schools receive the same number of valid nominations through the main form, the school that reached the tied number of nominations first, based on the timestamp of valid nominations received, will rank higher.

If a selected school cannot be contacted, does not meet the eligibility requirements or declines its prize, Scrapples may award the prize to the next highest-ranking eligible school.

Katrina Sabourin Audience Promotion

Katrina Sabourin is supporting Scrapples' Snack to School campaign and will share a dedicated nomination form with her followers.

Katrina's Audience Promotion is separate from the main Scrapples school competition.

Nominations made through Katrina's form will only count towards Katrina's Audience Promotion and will not be added to the nomination totals in the main Scrapples competition.

Katrina's promotion includes:

  • One whole-school Scrapples prize; and

  • Five family prizes.

Katrina's School Prize

One of the 10 whole-school Snack to School prizes is reserved for a school nominated through Katrina's dedicated form.

Every valid nomination submitted through Katrina's form counts as one entry for the school named on that nomination.

This means:

The more people who nominate a school through Katrina's link, the greater that school's chance of being selected.

For example:

  • 1 valid nomination for School A = 1 entry for School A

  • 20 valid nominations for School B = 20 entries for School B

  • 50 valid nominations for School C = 50 entries for School C

After Katrina's promotion closes, Scrapples will randomly select one valid nomination from all eligible nominations received through Katrina's form.

The primary school named on that nomination will receive:

One 12g pack of Scrapples for every enrolled pupil, up to a maximum of 300 packs.

If the selected school:

  • Does not meet the eligibility requirements;

  • Cannot be contacted;

  • Declines the prize; or

  • Has already won a whole-school prize through the main Snack to School competition,

another eligible nomination from Katrina's form will be selected at random.

This ensures that 10 different schools benefit from the campaign.

Katrina's Family Giveaway

Scrapples will also randomly select five individual entrants who submit a valid school nomination through Katrina's dedicated form.

Each of the five winners will receive:

One Month's Supply of Scrapples

30 × 12g individual packs, comprising, subject to availability:

  • 10 × Plain Apple

  • 10 × Apple & Mango

  • 10 × Apple & Strawberry

The 30 packs represent approximately one individual Scrapples snack per day for one month.

If a particular flavour is unavailable, Scrapples may substitute it with another Scrapples flavour.

Each eligible entrant who submits a nomination through Katrina's form receives one entry into the family-prize draw.

There is a maximum of one family prize per household.

Winning a family prize does not affect the nominated school's chances of winning Katrina's school prize.

Family prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Katrina's Promotion Period

Katrina's Audience Promotion opens on the date Katrina publishes her Snack to School campaign content.

It closes at:

23:59 (BST) on 23 September 2026.

Only eligible nominations submitted through Katrina's dedicated form during this period will be included in Katrina's school and family prize draws.

Katrina Sabourin is supporting the promotion as a content creator. She is not responsible for administering the competition, selecting winners or fulfilling prizes.

All prizes are provided, administered and fulfilled by Spare Snacks Ltd t/a Scrapples.

Entrant Thank-you Discount

Eligible entrants who choose to tick the optional Scrapples marketing opt-in will receive a Scrapples discount code by email.

Entrants who opt in may also receive future Scrapples news and offers in accordance with the Scrapples Privacy Notice.

Any discount code provided will be subject to the redemption conditions and expiry date stated in the relevant communication.

Unless otherwise stated, discount codes are single-use, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

Winners & Notification

Winning schools and individual family-prize winners will be contacted using the information supplied when entering.

Scrapples will normally contact winners within 7 days of the relevant selection or draw.

Scrapples may request reasonable information to confirm a winner's eligibility.

For a school prize, Scrapples may contact the person who submitted the relevant nomination initially in order to assist with identifying or contacting an appropriate representative of the nominated school.

A school prize will not be publicly announced until the school's eligibility and acceptance have been confirmed.

If a winning school or individual:

  • Cannot be contacted;

  • Does not respond within 14 days;

  • Cannot verify their eligibility;

  • Declines the prize; or

  • Is otherwise unable to accept the prize,

Scrapples may select another eligible winner in accordance with the relevant selection process.

Prize Delivery

Whole-school prizes will be delivered directly to the winning schools on an agreed business day during term time.

Family prizes will be sent by courier or Royal Mail to an address supplied by the winner, normally within 30 days of the winner being confirmed.

All school prizes are subject to approval and coordination with an appropriate representative of the winning school.

Scrapples may substitute a flavour or product with another Scrapples product of equal or greater value if reasonably necessary due to availability.

Allergens & Consumption

Scrapples prize products are free from all 14 UK declarable allergens with no cross-contamination risk.

Scrapples are recommended for children aged 36 months and over. Young children should be appropriately supervised while eating.

Full ingredient and allergen information is provided on each pack. Always check the information on the product packaging at the point of distribution or consumption.

School Responsibility

Winning schools are responsible for checking prize products against known pupil allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements and distributing products in accordance with their own policies.

Where required, schools should notify parents or guardians in advance and obtain any necessary permissions.

By accepting a prize, the school confirms that it will follow its own policies and obtain any permissions or consents required before distributing the products.

Ingredient and allergen specifications can be provided to schools on request by emailing hello@sparesnacks.com.

School Right to Refuse

Schools may decline a prize at their discretion, including because of their own food, commercial partnership, safeguarding or distribution policies.

If a school declines its prize, Scrapples may offer the prize to the next eligible school or select another eligible school in accordance with the relevant selection process.

Portion & Storage

The intended serving is one 12g pack per child.

Scrapples should be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.

Products should be stored in a cool, dry place and best-before dates should be checked before distribution.

School prizes are not for resale.

Content & Publicity

Scrapples may announce winning schools on its website, email marketing and social media channels.

Winner announcements may include the name and town/location of a winning school and, where appropriate, the first name and town of the person who nominated it.

Pupil names will never be included in campaign winner announcements without appropriate consent.

If a winning school asks not to be publicly named, Scrapples may announce the win in another appropriate way, for example by referring to "a primary school in Bath".

Any photography or filming at a winning school will only take place with:

  1. Prior approval from an authorised school representative; and

  2. Confirmation from the school that any necessary permissions and parent/guardian consents have been obtained in accordance with its policies.

Scrapples does not automatically acquire ownership of photographs, videos or other user-generated content simply because an individual participates in the campaign.

Where Scrapples wishes to reuse content, appropriate permission will be obtained where required.

Personal information supplied by entrants will be used to administer Snack to School 2026.

This may include:

  • Recording and validating nominations;

Random Prize Draws

Where a prize is selected at random, Scrapples will conduct the draw fairly from all eligible entries received for that particular prize.

Scrapples will keep an appropriate record of the selection process.

Fair Play

Scrapples may disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, duplicated contrary to these Terms & Conditions or otherwise ineligible.

Attempts to artificially increase a school's nominations through fake email addresses, automated systems or other manipulation may result in those nominations being removed.

Scrapples may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion if circumstances outside its reasonable control materially affect the fair or proper running of the competition.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
